Wellcome to camping San Francisco

Our campsite is located near to the small village of Louro, in a perfect place surrounding by forests and mountains, hiking routes, petroglyphs and 200 metres from San Francisco Beach at the Ria of Muros and Noia.

The campsite is enclosed by the ancient wall of the Convent of San Francisco ( it has its origins in the XIII Century ) located next to.

Campsite facilities and services are from the first category: telephone, medical service, security, 200 metres to the beach, laundry , restaurant , café-bar , sports area, church, children´s playground , post office, showers, lawn , electricity, green areas with extensive shady zones, washing place,…

PODS CAMPING SAN FRANCISCO

Wooden pods. Measures: 240x400 cm. Back window, front French doors and a small deck. Equipped with double bed, sofa-bed, TV set, fridge, table and two deck chairs.

GLAMPING SPORT CAMPING SAN FRANCISCO

The tents have dimensions of 5x5 meters and a 2x5 terrace, equipped with table, chairs and umbrella. The interior of the tent is equipped with 20 cm thick sanitary mattresses and sleeping bags, and also has a refrigerator, microwave and fan.

GASTRONOMIC TOURISM

The gastronomy of the area is based , mainly, on sea products of excellent quality like cockles, clams, fish and seafood from the ria.

There are 3 beaches near to the campsite with all kinds of water activities , San Francisco Beach , A Bouga Beach and Fogareiro Beach.

RIA OF MUROS AND NOIA

Muros on the north , nestled at the foot of the Mount Louro, Noia on the East and Porto do Son on the South limit this placid and lovely ria .The origins of Muros and Noia go back to the Middle Ages. Both has a historic centre which speaks about an stately past linked to the sea and to the stone : emblazoned houses , arcaded streets, churches and small squares.

SAN FRANCISCO BEACH

The beach , 800 metres long with blue flag , and fine white sand , is the paradise for vacationers from all corners. It provides a lot of services : lifeguards , leisure areas, showers, boat rental, windsurfing courses, etc. It is situated under the ria`s safeguard, which makes it ideal for children. It has police presence and daily cleaning service.
